02What you buy
Crowns are a virtual in-game currency for Varcano and digital content. You use them to unlock permanent improvements in the workshop. You can also earn Crowns by playing; buying them is optional.
Crowns have no monetary value, cannot be transferred and cannot be paid out or exchanged for money or other currencies. They do not expire.
Bundles contain Crowns and further virtual content, for example boosts or unlocked defenses. What is in a bundle is shown in the shop and in the checkout before you buy. The starter pack can be bought once per account. Boosts and unlocked defenses are valid in Varcano and do not expire, unless a boost is limited in time.
03How it works and what you need
Purchased Crowns and content are credited to your Varcano account. You can buy in the game or at shop.finalroundstudios.com; in the browser shop you sign in with the same account (Discord, Google or email code). To collect them you need Varcano for Windows in a version with the shop, an internet connection and to be signed in with that account. They are then part of your save and are synchronised with your cloud save; spending them does not need a connection.
Crowns can only be used in Varcano. Technical protection: the credit is bound to your account; the game itself has no copy protection.
04Account and minors
You can only buy Crowns with a Varcano account that is linked to a sign-in method (email, Discord or Google). A guest account cannot buy anything, because the purchase could be lost together with the device.
If you are a minor, you need the consent of your parents or other legal guardians to buy Crowns.
05Ordering and conclusion of the contract
The packs shown in the game are not yet a binding offer. The order works like this:
- You choose a pack in the game's shop or at shop.finalroundstudios.com.
- The checkout of our payment provider Stripe opens in your browser and shows the pack and the total price.
- You enter your email address and payment details and give your consent to immediate performance (see the withdrawal notice).
- By clicking the payment button you place a binding order with an obligation to pay.
06Contract, input errors and language
The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment and we credit the Crowns to your account. We confirm the order and the contract by email to the address you entered in the checkout.
Until you click the payment button you can correct your details in the checkout at any time. To change the pack, leave the checkout with “Back” and choose a different one in the game. If you cancel the checkout, no contract is concluded and nothing is charged.
The contract languages are German and English. We store the contract text (your order data). You receive it together with these terms in the order confirmation by email; the current version of the terms is always on this page. We have not signed up to any particular codes of conduct.
07Prices and payment
The prices in the game and in the checkout are final prices in euros. They also state whether VAT is included or whether no VAT is charged under the German small business rule (section 19 UStG). There are no further costs.
Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. The checkout shows the payment methods you can use. Your payment data goes to Stripe and not to us.
08Delivery
We deliver digitally and immediately: once the payment is confirmed we credit the Crowns and content to your account, and the game collects them automatically when you start it and it is online. With a payment method that is only confirmed later (for example a direct debit), we deliver after the confirmation.
09Withdrawal notice
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Tom Wipplinger · ImHawkh, c/o Online-Impressum 10268, Europaring 90, 53757 Sankt Augustin, Germany, phone: +49 821 90795097, email: support@finalroundstudios.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://api.varcano.finalroundstudios.com/v1/shop/withdraw?lang=en. If you use this online function, we will send you without delay an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) with information on the content of your withdrawal statement and the date and time of its receipt.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
Your right of withdrawal expires early when we have begun performing the contract after you expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period, you acknowledged that by giving this consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract (section 356(5) German Civil Code). We ask for this consent and acknowledgement in the checkout; performance begins when the Crowns and content are credited to your account.

11After delivery
Once the Crowns have been credited, a purchase is final. Because the right of withdrawal has then expired, we do not take back purchased Crowns and do not refund the price, including for unused Crowns. A goodwill refund in an individual case is possible, but there is no entitlement to one.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected, in particular the rights for defective digital products (for example if Crowns are not delivered or delivered incorrectly), the rights for purchases by minors without consent and the right of withdrawal as long as it has not expired.
12Defects and missing Crowns
The statutory liability for defects of digital products applies to Crowns (sections 327 et seq. German Civil Code).
If Crowns do not arrive, write to support@finalroundstudios.com and give the order number from the order confirmation. We check the payment and deliver missing Crowns.
13Chargebacks and misuse
If a payment is charged back without a valid reason or the purchase is disputed abusively, we reserve the right to remove the Crowns concerned and to block the account. Your right to assert claims against your bank or us remains unaffected.
14Changes to the offer
Packs and prices may change; changes only apply to future purchases. We may close the shop for future purchases. Crowns you have already bought stay in your save.
15Liability and consumer rights
The statutory provisions apply. These terms do not exclude liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health.
Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you habitually reside remain unaffected. Otherwise German law applies, unless mandatory rules say otherwise.
